Free UPSC coaching for women

— Vedicology Foundation

The Vedicology Foundation funds full UPSC coaching for women who want to join the civil services. The goal is to become an IAS, IPS or IFS officer — and we are here for women who cannot afford the cost of preparing. We pay the full coaching fees directly to a verified coaching institute. We also cover your study materials, mock tests and examination attempt fees — you never handle the money yourself. To begin, you need an 85% aggregate across your graduation, in any discipline. It is open to the women we support across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and it costs nothing to apply or to ask.

The civil services are one of the hardest doors in the country to open, and coaching for the UPSC examination is long and costly. That cost keeps many capable graduates from ever sitting the exam. Your discipline does not matter — arts, science, commerce, engineering, any of them. If you have the marks and the resolve to serve, money should not be what holds you back.

What this covers

You won't have to pay for any part of your UPSC preparation. The scholarship covers:

  • Full coaching fees — paid directly to the coaching institution
  • Study materials and books required for the course
  • Mock test series and practice materials
  • Examination attempt fees

The coaching is funded in full, and the money goes straight to the institute, so there is nothing for you to pay upfront and claim back later. You give the preparation everything you have. We carry the cost.

Your path forward

The civil services UPSC opens

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is the single door to the country's top administrative roles. Clearing it is the gateway to:

1
IAS

the Indian Administrative Service — leading districts, departments and policy.

2
IPS

the Indian Police Service — leading the police and keeping communities safe.

3
IFS

the Indian Foreign Service — representing India in diplomacy abroad.

Whichever service is yours, the coaching scholarship is there to get you through the examination that opens it.

The marks you need

Eligibility criteria
85%across graduationAny discipline

To begin UPSC coaching, you need an 85% aggregate across your graduation — that is your graduation aggregate, the average across all your semesters. It can be in any discipline. You can apply if you have completed your degree or are in your final year.

This is the entry bar for UPSC coaching alone. The full marks table for every Foundation programme is on one page. If your marks are slightly below the bar, that page explains what to do next. See the full marks table →

💡 If your graduation average is just short of 85%, please do not rule yourself out before you talk to us. This matters especially if your university marks strictly.

Simple steps

How it works

The process is straightforward, and we keep it that way on purpose:

1

We assess your application and check your graduation marks and documents.

2

Our Programme Officer visits your home and talks with you and your family about your goal of joining the civil services. This is a conversation, not an interrogation.

3

We check the quality of the coaching institution before we empanel it. We want you somewhere that will genuinely prepare you for the UPSC examination.

4

We pay the institution directly — you never handle the money.

5

We stay in touch through your coaching, so you are never doing this alone.

How to start

We will tell you honestly whether UPSC coaching support is the right fit, and what to do next.
