Why the coaching institute matters, too
Before any coaching support begins, Vedicology Foundation checks the quality of the institute. Not just its fees. This is a real step, not a formality. A student is only placed somewhere that will genuinely prepare her for the exam, not just collect a fee. This matters most for coaching support for economically weaker students. The cheapest option is not always the one that gives a fair shot at clearing the exam.
Coaching Scholarship vs Exam Fee Support: they're different
This is a common mix-up worth clearing up. A coaching scholarship, like the one described here, pays for preparation — part of the coaching fee, plus study materials and books. Exam Fee Support is a separate programme. It pays the registration fee to sit an exam, not the coaching to prepare for it. Exam Fee Support has no marks bar at all, since it is purely need-based, while coaching support does have a marks bar for each exam.
Exam Fee Support is only for students of government institutions — government-aided institutions are not included. If you study at a government institution, ask us whether it applies to you alongside your coaching support.

This coaching support is open to girls who have lost a parent's support — for example, orphan girls, or girls whose father has died, left the family, or cannot support them. It is open across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. You must be 18 or older — the Foundation does not fund minors.
Marks just short of the bar for your exam? Apply anyway, especially at a board or university that marks strictly. Explain your situation. The Scholarship Committee looks at the whole case, not just the number.
